Burrell began her career in mortgage finance, spending over 13 years as a finance manager, loan officer, and community development loan officer. She educated the public on homeownership, credit, and wealth-building—establishing herself as a trusted advisor. She later became the first African American broker-owner of a RE/MAX franchise in her market, successfully leading the business for over a decade. In addition to her brokerage experience, Burrell is an active real estate investor and new construction consultant, helping clients and developers align projects with market demand and long-term investment goals.
